So, as a few of the more astute of you may have guessed, I am a gamer. Have been since 1985. For those of you who are also gamers and truly enjoyed the Final Fantasy series, PSN has a bunch of Square-Enix games available for cheap! Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, a bunch of FF games for $4.99 each! Super good deal. Also, for you PlayStation Plus people, get this game NOW! Dragon Crown. Get passed the fact it's an Atlus title. This game is great. MK 9 for all your violence needs and the up coming MK 10 is around the corner. If you don't have a PS Vita yet, GO GET ONE!!! Holy shit, how do you live with yourself? Let me guess...you have a Wii U and a 3DS/XL and are happy with it. I was there. I had a 3DS XL, and thank god I got rid of it for the Vita. Much sharper picture, more advanced games, and to top it off, if I get another Vita, or whatever is coming out after this, all my PSN stuff will transfer to the new device. This thing will also serve as a PS4 controller in a pinch. Remote play for your PS3 titles, etc etc. Why are you still reading this?! Get in your car, go to Best Buy (or equivalent in your area) and get a PS Vita. After you get one, present yourself and your wonderful device to the PS Vita section. DO IT!

i may have to get a vita just for the remote play feature...though ive transitioned from a console to pc gaming mainly (my ps3 is now a glorified netflix box)...i do miss a good handheld system but as i get older im finding fewer and fewer opportunities that i could use one...ill be all in once they get that augmented reality tech going though

It's already functional. Far more than the 3ds. Instead of stupid little "look what I can do" games. I haven't gotten any AR games yet though. There are far more things I can do with my Vita. Record video, actually play mp3s, decent pictures, a working microphone, etc. I would have gotten one sooner, but every store I wet to was sold out. Plenty of 3ds's though. Just pull the trigger. Worth it. The PCH-1001 is brighter than the PCH-2001 (slim). Personal preference though. $200 no matter how you slice it. Besides, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is on PSN for $10.

Coming to North American markets is Phantasy Star Online 2. Don't know about you guys, but I remember PSO on the Dreamcast, PSP and Xbox. This newest instalment adds a new race andnew class. Best part is, it is multi-platform. PC, console and PS Vita. All versions can interact with eachother. You can party with console and pc players with your Vita version. It's scheduled to hit U.S. markets this year. (some sources say thi month) I'm getting a copy.

The Final Fantasy games were good but it all went downhill since FFX
