While this works as presented, its intended to show this guy instead:

The thing about exile instead abilities, the ruling is that it only replaces anything BUT exile. So if the card in question is exiled by an ability that is going to return it to the field, all the original effect cared about was that it got exiled, and calls it a day.

I prefer the Lich to Sedris, in this circumstance. I may not get more than one creature a turn, but it comes back primed for combat with a small pile of new abilities to get through with.

So what if you used Teferi's Veil instead of the Closet? You wouldn't have the creature during the your next opponent(')s turn(s), but would it still work in a similar method?

Teferi's Veil would work, unless you got backed into a corner and couldn't attack for some reason.

Just remember, phasing neither triggers entry nor exit effects, anymore. So you can't exploit any of those with it.

Brago could be interesting, since he exiles any number of things when he connects. Exile your resurrected creatures, AND get the triggers from them.
