7/1/2012: This change of life total counts as life gain or life loss, as appropriate. Other effects that interact with life gain or life loss will interact with this effect accordingly.

So, Touch of the Eternal interacts pretty well with the Cards listed above. At the beginning of your upkeep stack the effects as appropriate and during your upkeep you'll have the amount of your permanents as life Points.

The bitterblossom will increase your life total by one in fact!-D
