with Djinn Illuminatus(DI for short) on the field, cast pyretic ritual, then replicate for as many times as you want, it's infinite mana. But it doesn't end there, if you also have guttersnipe or gelectrode on the field you can deal an infinite amount of damage at the same time.

replicate is an additional cost. So you need to determine how many times to replicate and pay that amount at the initial casting. You can not use the mana generated to pay for it.
Also replicate creates copies directly onto the stack, since you do not cast the copies they will not trigger guttersnipe or gelectrode

Its a pretty common mistake actually. The majority of the combos with Djinn Illuminatus in the database don't work because the poster didn't understand that replicate was a one time per spell cast triggered ability, and not an activated ability they could use whenever.
