Technically the damage is split to single 1 damage Events and then reduced to 0

This does not work the way you think. Each source of damage is still a single source, regardless of how many times you replace where a point of it is going to go. If I shoot the Personal Incarnation for 6 damage and you redirect all of it, you are going to be hit for 6 damage once, not 1 damage six times. THEN the Urza's Armor steps in and sees that 6 damage and shaves it down by 1.

Are you sure? text errate says now:
{0}: The next 1 damage that would be dealt to Personal Incarnation this turn is dealt to its owner instead. Any player may activate this ability, but only if he or she owns Personal Incarnation.

So I put single effects on the stack. Don't I?!?!

Urza's Armor checks for two things:
-Is a source trying to deal you damage?
-How much damage is that source trying to deal to you, in total?

Replacement effects like the PI's activated ability do not cause things to happen later or separately from when they were supposed to happen.

For the sake of argument:
I cast Lightning Bolt at the PI. The Bolt essentially reads, at that point, "Deals 3 damage to Personal Incarnation."
When you activate the PI's ability, it replaces where the damage is going. A Single activation is like replacing the text with, "Deals 2 damage to Personal Incarnation and 1 damage to its owner."
A second activation pushes it to "Deals 1 damage to Personal Incarnation and 2 damage to its owner."

At that point, thanks to the armor, both you and the incarnation are taking a single point of damage. If you sucked up the third point, you'd take 2 and the incarnation would be unscathed.

This does in fact work. Pestilence isn't doing more than one damage at a time but only 1 damage. You pump for 1, let it resolve, direct the 1 damage to you, reduce the 1 to 0, and repeat.

Didn't catch how pestilence came into the picture, but want to clarify Terakhan is correct and this combo does not work as intended.

And since pestilence was brought in, here is how it would work instead of the lightning bolt example.

1)activate pestilence-Pi set to receive 1 damage, you are set to receive 1
2)activate PI ability -PI set to receive 0 damage, you are set to receive 2
3)urza's ability triggers reducing the damage to you by 1 so now -PI set to receive 0 damage, you are set to receive 1
4) damage is done -you take 1

That is one way the situation can unfold, here is another

1)activate pestilence-Pi set to receive 1 damage, you are set to receive 1
2)urza's ability triggers reducing the damage to you by 1 so now -PI set to receive 1 damage, you are set to receive 0
3)activate PI ability -PI set to receive 0 damage, you are set to receive 1
4) damage is done with the same outcome -you take 1

The thing to remember is redirection doesn't change where the damage is coming from only where it is going.
